anthimeria: unicorn rampant, first line of Kipling's "The Thousandth Man" (The Novel)
[personal profile] anthimeria
Like half the planet, I've submitted to the HarperVoyager open MS call.  Given the huge volume of submissions (I'm going to guess that they received at least five figures of submissions--I have no way to know this, but given my own experiences sitting on that side of the desk, that's my guess), I'm not really expecting That E-Mail.  But it was good motivation to do a major overhaul of The Novel (submitted under The Unexpected Knight).  If I don't hear from them in three months, I have a solid query letter, a synopsis, and will be ready to do another round of agent submissions.

So, that was my last two weeks.  I think I'm going to actually sleep tonight, and take a look at starting Trial.

Sleep will be lovely, though.
