Another 5k on the new impulse project.  My wrists are really very unhappy with me, but I'm otherwise entirely pleased with this.

Still do not know whether this will amount to anything, or if it will be like the one year I did NaNoWriMo--a fantastic month writing every day, and then going back and realizing it was too badly broken to bother editing.  Which, honestly, wouldn't break my heart.  I just desperately need to be writing right now, and Skywatch and Moxie both require more brainpower than I have.  Apparently my impulse project does not need as many spoons, even if I've so far put out a ridiculous number of words per day.

New goal: get to either 50k or this story's natural stopping point in 14 days.  That's November 7.

Wish me luck!  And a lot of ice for my poor abused wrists.

50k in 14 days sounds like madness to me, but good luck! There's something to be said for just writing straight through something very quickly--for me, it never really results in a fantastic story, but it does wonders for getting me unstuck when I'm in a writing slump.
