Ow, but a good ow

5k words on a new project today after work.  Am making it up as I go--no worldbuilding, no character building, no outlining, just a vague plot, three MCs, and away I go.

I have no idea if it will go anywhere, and I'm still working on Skywatch and Moxie, but it's nice to have a project in draft, even if it ends up not being anything serious.

Time to ice my wrists, methinks.

5k?! Very nice! I wrapped up the final (I HOPE TO GOD IT IS THE FINAL BECAUSE IT IS THE TWELFTH) draft of the succubus story last night and submitted it to Clarkesworld. First story I've been able to circulate in far too long.

Yup, 5k. I just sort of started writing when I got home, and didn't stop till I went to bed. Or, well--I read for an hour while I iced my wrists, and then I went to bed. It's only the second time I've ever managed that many words in a single day.

Yay, short story circulating! I don't have anything out right now, sadly. Also, 12 drafts, jeez. Good luck!
