[personal profile] anthimeria
The Novel has eaten my brain.  The edit that I thought would take less than a month has so far taken a month and a half.  Also, due to many (necessary and good!) plot changes, I've been forced to write a brand new ending.  Not, like, the last few paragraphs.  A whole new climax and resolution.  At least three chapters.  Maybe four.

I keep telling myself that this is a learning experience.  It's a learning experience!  When I work on Skywatch, I will know a lot more about how to write and edit a novel than I did going into The Novel.
