anthimeriaEnded tonight's Skywatch editing session on 48,023 words, and I think I'm going to put a lid on div. I'm not finished with my latest editor's comments, but I've made some sweeping changes and altered a lot of things. I have an outline of Big Changes that need to happen yet, and after considering everything I'd already done on draft iv, and how major the Big Changes looked to be, I decided to play it safe and start a new draft.
I try to balance "not enough change to qualify as a draft" versus "so much change it's almost unrecognizable". Now is that moment with draft iv, methinks.
Maybe, if I'm very very lucky, I'll be able to hit one Big Change per session and hammer out dv in a week or so. Whether or not that happens, I think my goal has to be to get dv finished by June, barring unforeseen circumstances (both in RL and in the book).
