anthimeria: Open book, says "sometimes you reach what's realest by making believe" (Books)
[personal profile] anthimeria
Almost done with Skywatch diii (yep, that was fast.  The farther along in the process I get, the faster the drafts go).  (Erm, please don't let me have just shot myself in the foot.)  I just need to give it a complete read-through, now that I've either applied or considered and dismissed all of my own notes and my lovely editor's notes on dii (mostly applied, but not always).

Finding the time to do the read-through is driving me crazy, though, because I have a non-writing to-do list as long as my arm, and also I've fallen asleep over my laptop at 6 in the evening the last two nights.  (Which means I wake up at nine and go to bed again at two and wake up for the day at seven and . . . sleep deprived am I, oh yes.)  I'm not really sure why.  I haven't been abusing my sleep schedule more than usual, lately.  It's like in Garfield--nap attack!

The good news is, the ten pages I read before I toppled over last night were actually very good.  I tweaked some things for better effect and there's a flashback scene I'm not sure about, but overall I feel like Eshe's finally present.  At least in those opening ten pages.
