anthimeria: unicorn rampant, first line of Kipling's "The Thousandth Man" (The Novel)
So, another person I gave The Novel to has read it!  Or at least, has started reading it, and when I e-mailed her to say that I was getting down to the wire, she e-mailed me critiques of the few few chapters.  So, yay!  Another helpful person!

In related news, I have buckled down to agent and query research.

Boy, there's a lot out there. )

Since I've been working on the business side of being a writer, I haven't been working as much on the writing side, besides a few minor edits for The Novel.  Skywatch waits till August, and I'm still messing with the character profiles for Sanctuary, although now I'm pretty sure I know everybody's names.

Sanctuary is so very character-driven that I really want to know them all as well as I can before I start (I still expect them to surprise me while I'm writing, but I hope they'll be good surprises).  Anna ambushed me with a random character trait last night, and we'll see if it lasts, but I kinda like it.
