Congrats! Now that my flash piece has been accepted, I've got no pieces to submit and I'm getting really antsy too. I keep having to remind myself that it's good that the reason I don't have anything out is that the last thing was accepted, but I still feel like I need to have something circulating.
Luck with the new piece! I'm always usually more optimistic about shorter stories, since publications that pay by the word are more likely to take a chance on a shorter piece.
