anthimeria: Astro City superheroine Flying Fox (Flying Fox)
[personal profile] anthimeria
I survived my first two weeks of work!  And moving!  And buying a car!  And all the TEN THOUSAND MILLION other things you have to do when you fly to a new state with two suitcases and begin a new life.

Murphy has had it out for me the last week, so I haven't had time to write.  I haven't had time to breathe, practically.  I had more time and energy my FIRST week, when they were training me and I was the flaily newbie (to be fair, I'm still kinda a flaily newbie).  LITTLE THINGS ADD UP.  I have spent my lunch hours and after work hours on the phone!  And driving places!  And organizing things!

I don't even have any short stories out, which hasn't happened . . . in a really long time.

IN WRITING NEWS, however (yes, I do have writing news), I got the page proofs for Sword and Sorceress XXV!  It's really exciting to see the .pdf of the book.  My bio takes up more space than I thought it would, but whatever.  Nothing I can do about it now.

Now I just have to find a spare hour when my brain is working to actually, y'know, proof the proofs.

WISH ME TIME TO WRITE SOON.
